Louis Vuitton made history on September 18, 2024, by presenting its Women’s Fall-Winter 2024 collection at Toronto’s iconic Roy Thomson Hall, marking the Maison’s first-ever runway show in Canada. The collection, a tribute to the 10-year anniversary of Nicolas Ghesquière as Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, blends seasonal elegance with a decade of groundbreaking design.

Originally unveiled at Paris’s Cour Carrée at the Louvre, the collection has now found a second home under the honeycombed glass canopy of Roy Thomson Hall. The architecture, designed by Canadian Arthur Erickson, created the perfect blend of art and fashion, filtering light into a space that mirrors Toronto’s vibrant cityscape.

Louis Vuitton’s relationship with Canada runs deep, with its first store opening on Toronto’s Bloor Street in 1983. Today, the Maison has 10 locations across the country, including a new boutique in Montreal at Royalmount, set to open later this month. In October, Louis Vuitton will also debut its first City Guide dedicated to Toronto, further cementing the city’s significance for the global luxury brand.

From its innovative runway show to the launch of the City Guide, Louis Vuitton continues to make waves in Canada, celebrating both its rich history and bold future.
