Canada’s largest TEDx conference, is returning on October 26. Tickets are on sale now. Get yours before it’s sold out.

TEDxToronto is returning for its 11th year on October 26, 2019 at Toronto’s Evergreen Brick Works. It will take place on a Saturday for the first time ever.

As one of Canada’s largest TEDx events, this full-day conference aims to build a community of thinkers and doers, centred around the mission of ideas worth spreading, both big and small, according to organizers. This year, Toronto-born rapper and producer Kardinal Offishall will take the stage as the host.

For this year’s theme – Rise – TEDxToronto will bring voices to the forefront that might otherwise not have a stage to share their ideas. So many things are on the rise: new technologies and businesses, political movements, online communities, the temperature – our city. However, not everything that rises is good, and when some things rise, others get left behind.

This year, TEDxToronto is asking: what will it take for us as a society to rise together? To answer those questions there will be 12 speakers at TEDxToronto, including: Umbereen Inayet, Artistic Producer of Nuit Blanche, Shireen Ahmed, Writer, Podcaster, Activist for Muslim women in sports, Sage Paul, Indigenous Artist and Designer, Mark Cohon, Chairman of Toronto Global and Former Commissioner of the CFL, and Gulshan Allibhai, Owner of Lahore Tikka House.

Tickets are on sale now. Get yours before it all sells out. See you there!
