Lassi is a yogurt-based drink popular in South Asia, with mango lassi being the preferred cooling and soothing accompaniment to good roti or a spicy place of biryani. The wonderful people behind Parkdale’s My Roti Place added just a little bit of rum to kick up the drink’s mid-summer appeal.
Here’s how to build and enjoy this creamy concoction yourself.
Ingredients
• Mint leaves fresh
• 1.5 oz of Kraken rum
• 2 oz of Mango purée
• Ice
Directions:
• Add rum, mango purée and ice in a cocktail shaker
• Shake well and strain
• Garnish with mint leaf
