Whether it’s gifting fans with dramatic buzzer beater wins or his infamous robotic laugh, it’s clear that in the short time he’s been here, Kawhi Leonard has left his mark on Toronto and quickly become a Raptors fan favourite.
However, with the end of the basketball season looming and Leonard set to become a free agent by July 1st, 2019, time is of the essence.
The big question is: will Leonard re-sign with the Raptors?
Leonard so far has been mum on the subject, dodging relentless media questions, and preferring to focus on the current season. But if Raptors fans want to see the MVP hopeful stay in the 6ix they need to help Leonard feel at home, or better yet find a permanent home.
Earlier in the season, word that Leonard had bought a 13.3 million dollar house in his hometown of San Diego had Raptors fans shaking in their boots. The news further fueling rumors that he would sign with the Los Angeles Clippers once his time in Toronto was up.
Currently, not much is known about where in Toronto Leonard has been living during the season.
Proposing a solution to this problem is Simon Mass, CEO of The Condo Store Realty Inc. Brokerage. If Leonard re-signs with the Raptors, Mass is prepared to gift him with a multi-million dollar downtown Toronto penthouse condo in either the Four Seasons, St. Regis or Ritz Carlton Residences.
“At The Condo Store we have and always will support our favourite NBA Team. We want to get the support of the City behind Kawhi and ensure he’s comfortable in a multi-million dollar condo that is built for a king,” said Mass.
And king is right, with the final season of the show Game of Thrones coinciding with the NBA playoffs, fans have deemed Leonard the King of the North, even more evidence pointing to his popularity in the city.
If Leonard stays he will have his pick of these royally stunning penthouses for free.
While, Mass’ generous condo gift is the pinnacle of luxe offers to keep the basketball superstar in Toronto, there have been others.

Ka’wine and Dine is an offering by certain Toronto restaurants that are pledging to gift Leonard with free food for a lifetime if he re-signs with the Raptors.
Raptors fans can do their team a solid and support the campaign by dining at restaurants where the Ka’wine and Dine badge is displayed in the restaurant window. Here are a few of the restaurants that are participating: Tequila Bookworm, Rodney’s Oyster House, Bar Hop Bar, and lots more.
Follow the Ka’wine and Dine Instagram account to see which other restaurants are shooting their best shot at keeping Leonard in Toronto.
Here’s to hoping the keys to Leonard’s heart are real estate and food.
