Nestled between Toronto’s Entertainment District and Trinity Bellwoods, Hound House offers a unique space that reimagines pet-friendly urban living with its seamless blend of high-end design, practical amenities, and community-centric ethos.

Hound House, founded by Lauren Guizzetti and her partner Brandon, emerged from a desire to elevate urban dog ownership. After moving back to Toronto from California, where dogs are welcome almost everywhere, the couple noticed a gap. “We struggled to find safe, clean spaces for our Mini Bernedoodle, Sky, to play and socialize that also fit into our lifestyle,” says Guizzetti. The solution? A year-round haven for dogs and their owners.

Inside, the space—crafted by award-winning design studio Nivek Remas—is a contemporary marvel. Minimalist tones meet playful touches like moss ceilings, marble accents, and quirky dog-inspired art, creating an ambiance that’s both luxurious and inviting. Whether you’re sipping a latte at the café, catching up on emails in the co-working area, or indulging your pup at the self-serve spa, Hound House is as much for humans as it is for their furry friends.

Amenities cater to every whim: a leash-free indoor dog park, premium daycare services, and private event rentals for doggie birthday parties or corporate gatherings. For community builders, a robust calendar of yoga classes, trivia nights, and tasting events ensures there’s always something happening.
Hound House isn’t just about indulgence. The club partners with local rescues to host adoption events, connecting prospective owners with dogs in need of homes. “It’s about fostering connections—not just between dogs and owners, but within the city itself,” says Guizzetti.
