Earlier this week, GLORY Media marked a significant milestone with the celebration of its inaugural Pride digital cover at a dazzling launch party. The event, co-hosted by drag queen superstar and Canada’s Drag Race host, Brooke Lynn Hytes, took place at the stunning Día Restaurant & Lounge within the Canopy by Hilton Toronto Yorkville hotel.
Presented by Steve Madden, the evening gathered Toronto’s 2SLGBTQIA+ leaders from the realms of business, technology, and culture for a night of celebration and camaraderie. Guests were treated to an exquisite selection of wines courtesy of Wines of Ontario (and got to determine their perfect wine match through the interactive match-making screen), along with refreshing Paloma cocktails using Tromba Tequila.
As the presenting sponsor, Steve Madden showcased an array of stylish shoes and accessories. Additionally, artist Tim Singleton created custom illustrations for decals and signage that beautifully adorned the space. Demonstrating their commitment to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Steve Madden also made a donation to Rainbow Railroad.
Levi’s added a unique touch to the evening with their personalization station, where guests could customize their own denim pouches and explore the vibrant Pride 2024 collection. This collection, inspired by LGBTQ+ rodeo culture from the 1970s to today, celebrates queer joy and authentic self-expression. Reflecting Levi’s dedication to equality and inclusion, the brand has been donating $100,000 USD annually to Outright International for the past five years to support LGBTQIA+ communities globally.
Beauty partner OPI offered an array of vibrant press-on nails for guests to enjoy at home, while Aesop Skincare contributed to the gift bags with books from their Queer Library, featuring works by queer authors.
Brooke Lynn Hytes, adorned in a dazzling cocktail dress and feather boa, mingled with guests throughout the evening, celebrating her dual digital covers prominently displayed around the venue.
The atmosphere was vibrant and energetic, encapsulating the essence of queer excellence and community spirit. The launch party was a testament to the power of collaboration and support within the LGBTQ+ community, making it a night to remember.
