On a chilly winter evening in Toronto, GLORY Media hosted its inaugural Lunar New Year celebration at the luxurious ULTRA Restaurant and Supper Club. The highly-anticipated event brought together Toronto’s leading Asian-Canadian professionals from finance, tech, real estate, luxury, creative arts, and hospitality for a night that, in many ways, felt like a reunion between old friends and new.
Guests were greeted by an elegant Monogram Appliances display, the event’s presenting partner, showcasing the Monogram Forge ice press and range. At the bar, the innovative Forge created custom ice spheres for signature Hennessy cocktails, including the event’s standout drink, “The Snake.” Attendees also admired Hennessy’s limited-edition Lunar New Year VSOP and XO bottles, featuring designs by acclaimed Chinese fashion designer Shuting Qiu.

For those looking for variety, wine from Bottles and Barrels, non-alcoholic beer from Partake Brewing, and a custom Chatime bubble tea bar added to the evening’s indulgence.
The event highlighted cultural and luxury experiences, including Roots’ Lunar New Year collection featuring cozy sweats and a standout varsity jacket. Holt Renfrew captivated the audience with a live demonstration of traditional Chinese sugar painting, where an artist created intricate zodiac symbols before their eyes.
Editor-in-Chief Lance Chung and Bob Park, Chief Brand Officer of GE Appliances Canada, welcomed guests with their opening remarks about the importance of celebrating the Asian-Canadian community. The evening concluded with a breathtaking Bian Lian performance, a mesmerizing art form from Sichuan opera where performers rapidly change masks to express different characters and emotions.
