Adding mental health services to the platform has long been a priority for the startup, and has been in high demand from Felix customers as of late. Multiple studies have shown Canadians’ mental health on the decline during the pandemic.
“Our user base has been clear on their number one priority for a new Felix service. With so many Canadians reporting increased mental health difficulties related to COVID, this service is more important now than ever,” said Kyle Zien, CEO and Co-Founder of Felix.
Given the stigma that can, unfortunately, and wrongfully, be attached to seeking help for mental health, Zien said his team felt a responsibility to provide accessible services for those who may need it.

To start, Felix will offer prescription renewals and delivery for anxiety and depression medication. The platform also has plans to add more holistic approaches to mental health treatment, like access to psychotherapy, in the coming months.
By adding mental health services, Felix continues to build on its mission to empower people to take control of their health and wellbeing. Zien looks forward to seeing how the newest addition to the digital healthcare provider will support Canadians struggling with their mental health across the country.
“Now, during Mental Health Awareness Month, in particular, we are pleased that we can start offering a solution.” [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
