Wine season is in full swing, and what better way to partake in it than to enjoy quality wine cocktails. Ruffino, an Italian winery offers 140 years of experience and with each bottle, expresses Italy’s history. The white wine, Ruffino Lumina Pinot Grigio, comes from the growing regions best suited for high quality Italian pinot grigio. The mineral touch, taste of yellow pear and almond pair well with prosciutto and mild cheeses, fresh salads, and pasta with cream sauces.
Here’s what you’ll need to get the best of this wine. Add cinnamon to the cocktail to get that robust taste to fit the season.
Ingredients:
3 parts Ruffino Lumina Pinot Grigio
3 parts rooibos tea
½ part lemon juice
Lemon peel
Method:
Infuse the Ruffino Lumina Pinot Grigio with cinnamon overnight in the fridge.
Brew the Rooibos tea and allow to chill. Add sugar to slightly sweeten the tea.
Combine all ingredients into a highball glass, add ice, and stir.
Add a lemon peel for garnish.
