Get into the spirit of Thanksgiving with this unique cocktail

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and now’s the best time to start making plans to get with friends and family.  Along with the turkey and pumpkin pie, enjoy this cocktail, cheekily called “Friendsgiving”, which embodies everything October. Bacardi Añejo Cuatro is the main ingredient and its simplicity and versatility makes this cocktail work. Pumpkin puree, honey and apple cider give this drink the sweet punch that’s perfect to finish off a day of feasting.

Here’s what you’ll need to create this delicious cocktail.

Ingredients:

2 oz.’s Bacardi Cuatro

1 oz. apple cider (unfiltered juice)

.75 oz.’s lemon juice

.5 oz.’s honey

1 table spoon pumpkin puree

Garnish with cinnamon sticks and apple slices

Instructions:

In a large rocks glass, add the Bacardi Cuatro, apple cider, lemon juice, honey and pumpkin puree.

Mix all of the ingredients together evenly with a spoon.

Fill the glass with ice and garnish before serving.

Pro tip – Mix all the liquid with the honey and pumpkin puree before adding any ice because the ice will cause the honey to clump up.
