Earlier this year, Sundays, one of Canada’s leading direct-to-consumer furniture brands, proudly opened their fourth showroom in Calgary, Alberta.
Since their launch in 2019, Sundays has experienced a surge in popularity and growth, resulting in an expansion in both retail showrooms as well as key internal roles, including Marketing Director, Creative Director, and Ecommerce Merchandising. In 2022 alone, the Canadian furniture brand also witnessed a whopping 75 percent of revenue growth YoY, a testament to their timeless appeal and utility.
Starting with their first two furniture showrooms in Vancouver and Toronto, the company’s rapid success has allowed them to expand into the United States with a showroom in Seattle.
While these numbers are impressive indeed, they are backed by a sincere effort to build community, and a customer experience that is “easy like a Sunday morning.”
The new showroom consists of inviting displays, showcasing the company’s first rate products, such as the best-selling Get Together Sofa.
The space will also host community enriching events such as gallery showings and panel discussions which will further support the arts and business community of Calgary.
In 2023, Sundays is aiming for 50 percent growth in Canada and the USA. They are currently preparing for their second pop up in New York City, following a successful run of pop ups in NYC and LA in 2022. So far, the momentum shows no sign of slowing down.
Growing from a company of one employee in 2019 to 40 staff members today, Sundays is quickly growing to be a beloved Canadian brand known for its quality, soothing showrooms, and furniture design.
