Mission Critical Live with Fatima Zaidi
In the first live podcast of our monthly series, Mission Critical: The Bold Conversations, Editor-in-Chief Lance Chung sat down with Quill Inc. and CoHost founder and CEO, Fatima Zaidi, to discuss how to build a loyal audience, the many myths surrounding the medium, and how brands can leverage the power of podcasts.
The event was hosted at Toronto’s Hotel X, where guests were invited to Valerie on the 28th floor and were greeted with sweeping views of the city and glasses of Veuve Clicquot champagne. The event (and the rest of of Glory’s live podcasts) are in partnership with Veuve Clicquot’s Bold program, an award ceremony and community of innovative, trailblazing, and bold women entrepreneurs.
Hosting a discussion featuring Zaidi felt appropriate to kick off our first Bold Conversation of the year considering she’s a former recipient of Veuve Clicquot’s Bold Future Award herself. Today, Zaidi leads Quill Inc., an award-winning production agency specializing in corporate audio, and CoHost, a podcast growth and analytics tool. Throughout the evening, Chung and Zaidi spoke to an audience of leaders, entrepreneurs, industry disrupters, and marketing experts who attended the event interested in how they could utilize the platform for their respective businesses and brands.
Before and after Chung’s conversation with Zaidi, attendees were invited to mingle and network with each other while nominations for this year’s Bold Woman Award circulated the room.
