[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The concept of shopping ethically is not new, but in recent years more attention has been drawn to human rights, climate change, and personal wellness.

We’ve seen an increase in the demand for ethically made goods and transparent supply chains. Consumers are making a shift; edging away from fast fashion and chemical-laden skincare, and opting for products that are made ethically.

This has created a need for ethical marketplaces like SΛM & LΛNCE, where we take the guesswork out of ethical shopping. We help consumers find what they are looking for, knowing that the companies and products have already been checked and vetted to fit our ethical standards. Our platform allows for smaller brands to reach a wider variety of customers and showcase their goods with those who share similar values around sustainability and ethics. [/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Who Is Leading The Charge” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:18|text_align:left”][vc_column_text]Women-led businesses have been at the forefront of these marketplaces, and unsurprisingly, women have a strong connection to ethical marketplaces. It’s why online spaces like SAM & LANCE feature exclusively women-owned businesses and products made by women.

As women do the majority of online household purchases, it makes sense that many of these small ethical businesses are founded by women who couldn’t find what they were looking for, so they developed a solution.  As we talked to the women who make the products in our marketplace, we started to notice a pattern.

They simply wanted better. They wanted to feel good about the things they were putting on their bodies. Consumers get to discover new items while shopping consciously.  Each woman’s uniqueness and individual expertise shines through in all of the products, making customers’ selections more personal to them. The products have been carefully curated, tried and tested. We believe in community over competition.  There is space for all women, space to grow, and room to pursue our dreams together.

Women and our businesses can coexist, and support each other. We support the women who make products that they care about, and the women who buy them. Our differences will make us excel in our own way, and leave room to cheer on the woman next to us. We live this every day with our SAM & LANCE community, and seeing it grow gives us hope for a better future of women supporting women.

This means that by purchasing a Care Crate as a gift, Torontonians are; showing friends and loved ones they are loved even from a far, are supporting our frontline community in the turbulent days ahead and are offering continued support to small and local businesses who are working to opperate through an unimaginable time.  [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”17716″ img_size=”full”][vc_separator][vc_column_text]SAM & LANCE is an online marketplace with an expansive collection of lifestyle goods made ethically from women-owned businesses around the world.
