Happy birthday Canada! Some of the world’s most iconic fashion and accessories brands had their designers working on limited-edition Canada 150 apparel to celebrate the country’s sesquicentennial.
Here’s what we’ll be sporting this Canada Day weekend.

The quintessential Canadian brand is here to rep Canada 150 in a big way. Roots is commemorating the sesquicentennial with a special collection of apparel and accessories, all made in Canada. With themes of trees and flags, the Roots patches are patriotic additions to their beloved zip hoody.

Cool and casual, Peace Collective offers Canadian-made clothing perfect for lounging and watching fireworks. Their 1867 heavyweight cotton tee pays homage to Canada 150 with a cute, maple leaf icon embroidered on the sleeve.

Drake General Store Chuck Hughes’ Hockey Tee
The Drake General Store partnered with Hudson’s Bay and Sid Lee to mark Canada’s 150th celebration. They’ve created a collection of limited-edition T-shirts including one of the lobster clawed, hockey-playing Chuck Hughes. A percentage of sales is donated to Community Food Centres Canada.

Hermes “Into the Wild” Scarf
Go chic this Canada Day with Hermes’ special-edition silk scarf inspired by our country’s wildlife. Beautifully designed, the scarf features seven different habitats, and 40 different species, which were hand-painted, digitized, and screen printed. This scarf can be purchased at Hermes boutiques across the country. A portion of sales go to Evergreen Canada.

New Balance Parliamentary Runners
Going for a jog? Peep these New Balance “Parliamentary Runner” kicks, released just in time for Canada’s 150th. New Balance has partnered with Ottawa sneaker shop NRML to design a commemorative show inspired by Ottawa’s parliament buildings. With these shoes, patriotism runs all year round.

Swatch’s Backup Red
It’s time to show off your pride. The Backup Red is the official Swatch nod to Canada’s birthday, complete with a cool red-and-white design, and Canadian symbols like Canada’s parliament building, maple syrup, and a kayak. The strap features the official Canada 150th anniversary logo.

This all-Canadian company values fashion for both city slicking and cottage living. So what better way to honour the country that gives us the best of both worlds? Handwoven with straw, the circle tote features leather handles and embroidered “CDN.”

Harry Rosen’s 150 Pocket Square
We may be considered the polite neighbours to the north, but we can’t deny our love of fun and competition. Harry Rosen created a contest for the designers at Hambley & Woolley, calling them to submit designs for a limited-edition pocket square. Frances Chen was the lucky winner, and his silk pocket square is handsomely decorated with a vibrant, red maple leaf.
